02 / The strategy payload

A true narrow-to-broad Christmas tree.

Layers 1 and 2 can carry exact pairing IDs when the current data supports them. Layers 3 through 7 use progressively broader, cited properties. Every payload is immutable, versioned, checksummed, and approved before it can appear in the extension.

  • Hard constraints persist in every layer.
  • Relaxations are named where they begin.
  • Incomplete pairing coverage is shown as a limitation—not hidden behind a claim.

Each lower layer widens the choices. Higher-priority hard constraints remain unless a reviewer documents an exception.

03 / Install the Chrome extension

Four steps from Chrome to connected.

Maverick Bid Companion is available from the verified Chrome Web Store listing. Phones can use the website and PDF, but Chrome does not run this desktop side-panel extension on a phone.

    Choose Add to Chrome on the verified Maverick Bid Companion listing.

  2. 2Confirm the install

    Review Chrome's prompt, then choose Add extension.

  3. 3Pin the dog icon

    Open Chrome's puzzle icon, then pin Maverick Bid Companion.

  4. 4Connect Maverick

    Open the side panel, choose Connect Maverick, approve the website screen, and return to the extension.

04 / Privacy boundary

05 / Troubleshooting

Know what each status means.

Not connected or connection expired

Open the extension, choose Connect Maverick, finish the website confirmation, and return to the side panel. The browser-only connection expires after 12 hours.

No bid ready

The strategy is still a draft, needs human review, belongs to a different account, or has been replaced by a newer version. Only Ready for PBS bids appear.

Extension out of date

Install the current approved version before transfer. A newer payload schema will fail closed instead of guessing.

Wrong PBS page or context changed

Open the supported bidding workspace for the same bid period and crew context. If the month, role, equipment, or domicile changes, preview again.

Verification failed

The extension stops immediately. Read the last verified operation, correct the page if appropriate, then preview and resume. It does not skip a failed operation.
